De-stress your hair this WINTER!

Hello my lovelies! The winter season is very much here and so is the constant need to take care of your HAIR! Winter along with cold brings dry and luster less hair too. The cold robs the hair of its bounce, often leaving it limp and lifeless. The scalp flakes and leads to itching, scratching and aggravated hair loss. So before the winter winds can wreak havoc with your hair, treat them to deep conditioning.

1. Deep conditioning:
What I like to do is leave my conditioner on for some more time when I shampoo, this way my hair get that EXTRA nourishment and shine. I also use hair mask every fortnight. My favorite hair mask is Wella Enrich hair mask.

2. Frequently trim your hair:
Another point which you must consider is regularly trimming your hair. Trim off damaged hair and split ends regularly as they obstruct the hair growth process and make the edges of your hair strand weak!

3. Oil massage:
Since the cold weather tends to dry your hair, a gentle oil massage will help your hair restore its softness. But remember to be gentle and should be done once a week. Continue to pre shampoo your hair with essential oils like coconut, jojoba, emu and olive. Olive oil can provide the much needed moisture to the hair. Heat the oil before using and allow it to soak for a while. Style your hair in a knot or a braid. It is also advisable to keep your hair away from regular coloring, streaking or ironing as they can rob off its moisture.

4. Try switching to a moisturizing, dry scalp nourishing shampoo and conditioner. Be gentle while shampooing and never use excessive force for rubbing your hair. Remember hair is most vulnerable when wet.
Thus ladies it is very important to winter proof your hair so that they do not become dry and lifeless. I hope you find these tips helpful. If you have any suggestions feel free to comment below. I will be very happy to read your comments and answer them!

Easy tips to get rid of under eye dark circles and puffiness:

Hello everyone, hope you all are enjoying this lovely weather. Today I would like to share with you all some easy and effective tips on how to get rid of your UNDER EYE DARK CIRCLES! This is a problem which we all face at one point of time. It is very disappointing to see those under eye circles and puffiness , the first thing in morning when you look at yourself in the mirror. But there is surely a remedy to it! All you need it some patience and the believe that it wont last long enough. So here are my easy tips to combat the issue, without any delay let's get started.

1. Address the issue:

You may want to rule out any medical problem that may be causing your under eye area to become dark and puffy. Keep in mind that there are some medical conditions such as allergic reactions which might be causing the problem. If you also have fever, skin rash or difficulty in breathing you MUST CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY. If you know it is some kind of allergy then try eliminating it from your diet. Common food items which could be causing allergy are commercial pasteurized milk from hormone-treated cows, processed grains, fruits and veggies with residual pesticides. Watch out as allergies can also be caused by under eye creams or some mascaras.

2. Enough sleep:

We all know that lack of sleep can cause your eyes to appear swollen, puffy and not so appealing! The science behind it is that lack of sleep can make your skin appear paler thereby allowing blood vessels to be more prominently visible through the skin giving the appearance of bluish or dark circles. So try to get yourself 6-7 hours of undisturbed sleep.

3. Natural remedies:

Fortunately there are a lot of natural remedies for dark circles and puffiness present at your home. And the best part is that these are super easy and very less time consuming so you can take a few minutes off from your busy daily schedule to look beautiful:) You may wana try some of these and I hope they will be helpful:
  • Cool Cucumber slices
  • A cotton ball dipped in potato juice
  • Crushed mint leaves
  • A teaspoon of tomato and lime juice
  • Leave small amount of castor oil overnight
  • Cool teabags
Just apply any of the above on your eyes and hopefully you will see the dark circles reducing and finally gone.

4. Iron deficiency:

You may sometimes notice a bluish tinge underneath your eyes due to iron deficiency. Other symptoms of lack of iron in your diet include pale skin, shortness of breath, increased heart rate, fatigue, dizziness etc. If you have any two of these symptoms you MUST visit your doctor ASAP!

Don't stress, drink plenty of water, avoid oil based cosmetics, don't sleep with your makeup on and eat more alkaline foods such as green vegetables, cilantro, mint etc. Keeping these few simple points in mind will surely help you to reduce your under eye dark circles and make your skin look young and fresh!

One thing which finally CURED my ACNE!!!!

Hello beauties! Today I will be talking about something which really helped me to get rid of my long term acne! First to begin with I would just like to quickly describe  my skin. I have quite oily skin with open pores and small acne bumps on my cheeks and forehead. When I touch my skin, it does not feel smooth , there are small bumps making it rough. Also my skin is quite sensitive so I generally do not try my hands on a lot of face products. And one more thing , my skin remains rough throughout the year and the acne never seem to go. But FINALLY this all has been a thing of the past. Recently my friend suggested a face wash which worked very well for her skin. It's called D'ACNE face wash. It is available at the chemist easily and contains Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid. But I will strongly recommend everyone to consult your dermatologist before using it. I have been using it for over a month now and there is a great reduction in my acne. So lets get started with the review:

Product packaging and use:
The D'ACNE face wash comes in a sleek plastic bottle with a pump dispenser.
It contains a liquid which changes into foam upon pressing the pump. It is very convenient to use and is travel friendly. I generally use two pumps of the product and lather it on wet face. Then I rub it gently for 20 seconds after which the foam kind of disappears. Then I rinse it off with water. This face wash is fragrance free which is another plus point.

Results:

I use this face wash twice daily and the results are superb. It leaves my face very clean and fresh and I have seen a gradual decrease in my acne. My skin has started feeling smooth and there is also a decrease in pore size. I have used a vast variety of face wash but nothing really worked for me this well. I simply love it!! For me its a 10 on 10. If you have acne you may definitely want to consider this D'ACNE face wash. I hope you would love it, but again, DO NOT FORGET to consult your DERMATOLOGIST before hand.

I hope this was helpful. Don't forget to comment below.
